WALTER HILL

United Way Appointment Announced

Waller Hill, executive director of the Ann Arbor Community Center, has accepted the volunteer position of agency liaison chairman for the 1977-78 Washtenaw United Way Campaign. John F. Eman, general campaign chairman, made the announcement.

As agency liaison chairman, Hill will be responsible for the coordination of campaign activities between the United Way and its fifty local and statewide member health, research, social service and character building agencies. In addition, Hill has also accepted the campaign chairmanship of the Social Service agency Division of the Campaign.

Eman said, "I am just delighted that Walter Hill had agreed to serve as a vital member of this year's campaign team. His knowledge of social agency operation and dedication to the United Way concept will prove to be a definite asset in this year's campaign."

The Washtenaw United Way and its fifty member agencies provide services to Ann arbor, Ypsilanti, Milan and Whitmore Lake.
