PIPE SCAFFOLDING: This intricate framework of pipe scaffolding covering the facade of the building at 215 and 217 S. Main St. was erected in order to remove a protruding cornice and parapet at the top of the building housing the Thom McAn Shoe Store and Kessel's Fashion Shop. The Henry DeKoning Construction Co. is replacing the old-fashioned stone architectural work with a plain stone coping.
