THE VILLAGE STORE: This is the interior of the new Village Store which was opened recently in a new building at 1205 S. University Ave. The new woman's apparel shop has an Early American decor. Skirts are hung from carriage wheels and blouses are in reproductions of old-fashioned tobacco bins. The firm, which was stores in Birmingham and Saginaw, does much of its own clothing design work in co-operation with manufacturers.
