It never mattered how hard I tried. It was always the same outcome, the same longing for more and the same old headaches. The entirety of the school, watched me. The bloodshot eyes of the students followed me like a security camera as sweat dripped down my acne filled forehead. The art of ignoring others was a mastered art, and I owned it. No matter what others said, I turned the other cheek and kept moving forward as the chains dragged from my ankles sparking on the concrete. It was a hard life until it ended.
