Leonard Green, for 25 years a resident of this city, and for half a century, a resident of Webster, died at his home, 534 North Main street, at 11 o'clock this morning.

Mr. Green suffered a stroke of paralysis last Saturday and since that time he had been dangerously sick. He was born November 2, 1835, on the farm in Webster, known as the Green farm, and which was owned by Mr. Green at the time of his death. He worked on the farm until his health obliged him to retire from active work, and he then came to this city. He was respected by all who knew him, and was regarded as one of the best farmers in the county. He is survived only by the widow.

Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Sunday at the residence and the remains will be taken to Hamburg for burial. The burial services will be at 3:30.
