Audiences will get a backstage view of the production of a professional marionette show at 9 a.m. Sunday on WXYZ TV, Channel 7.
Mr. and Mrs. Meredith Bixby University television series, 1“Understanding Our World,”? with their marionettes. They will be interviewed by Prof. Edward Stasheff of the U-M department of speech.
The Bixbys, veterans of 25 years in professional puppetry will conduct one of the clinics at the 25th anniversary convention of the Puppeteers of America Aug. 1-6 at the Park Shelton Hotel in Detroit.
A yearly marionette production of students in some 350 elementary schools in the country is presented by the Bixbys with their Meredith Marionettes.
