The lights fade out,
Curtains glide gracefully open,
The world is silent.
An angelic swan dances elegantly,
Sounds of a lake,
Tranquill and yet lively.
But the swan is only an illusion,
A mask that I wear.

The curtain will open again…

Now a fair maiden,
Pure as snow,
Sings a melody,
Sweeter than honey.
But the maiden is only an illusion,
A mask that I wear.

The curtain will open again…

This time, a young girl prances out,
Wearing a sky-blue dress,
So eager and curious,
In a world turned upside-down.
But the girl is only an illusion
A mask that I wear.

Will the curtains open again?

Finally, a boy walks out,
His hair long and wavy,
His clothes so feminine,
His smile is radiant like the sun.

And he bows,
The crowd applauses.

Maybe this boy is an illusion,
Maybe he is another mask I wear.
But maybe not…

The curtain will open again,
I’m sure it will.
