Sometimes, you grab a shovel
And start digging a hole for yourself- you want to dig so far there is just nothing left
At all
And when people talk to you, they just make you dig farther
Down into the void- run away
You dig because you’re upset
You dig because you feel your not wanted
You dig to get away
Only a few people can come along and try to pull you out
But you keep scrabbling, trying to get back where there is nothing
Like pulling a gerbil out of a tube
And maybe if your not digging, your running
Through a never ending maze- be careful to make the right choices,
There are so many twists and turns
Or you just get stuck
More than you ever thought you would be.
