12,000 Pounds Of Fruit Sold
During the first week of sales the Ann Arbor Lions Club has taken orders for more than 12,000 pounds of oranges and grapefruit, President Henry O'Day said today.
The fruit will be delivered from Texas at the end of the month, and profits from the sale will go for the club's projects to aid the sight handicapped, he said. O'Day noted that orders may be called in at 663-0357 on Saturdays.
