The coppery taste of memories long forgotten overrides all of her senses. She lays there, still, unremembered; ignored by history. She feels the problems of the past seep away, an invisible weight lifting from her shoulders. Omitted from the minds of countless generations; she waits.

Sometimes she feels as though the walls around her are moving, trembling, but she can’t be sure. Unpleasant Things slip and slide between her fingers and toes, caressing her body, leaving slimy vestiges behind. They tingle with an otherworldly feel.

She rests below the ground.

Slowly she will turn into nothing; and then, only then, will she truly be gone.
