Apartment Door Set Afire As 'Prank'
Apartment door set afire as 'prank'
A door was scorched in a University of Michigan campus area apartment building Tuesday when a “prankster" set fire to papers, Ann Arbor police reported. Patrolmen were called to the second floor of 307 Thompson St., where the charred remains of the papers were found at the base of the door. Police said the papers apparently had been tacked to the door and set afire as a prank. The fire went out before major damage could occur, officers said. An arson investigation is underway.
