Carpenter, Mrs. William (Jeanette) 531 Territorial St., Manchester
Age 57, died suddenly, Thurs. Sept. 18, 1986 at the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. She was born Jan. 11, 1929 in Royalton, Kentucky the daughter of Ernest and Nancy (Fletcher) Flint. She was married to William (Dub) Carpenter Sept. 29, 1929, he survives. She had been an employee of the Ford Motor Company for 32 years, retiring in 1979. She was a member of the Manchester United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Nancy Arnett of Manchester; two brothers and their wives Chalmer and Janice Flint of Chelsea and Harold and Helen Flint of Manchester; many nieces and nephews, including David and Lori Flint, Gary Flint and Steve Flint. Funeral services will be held Mon., September 22, 1986, at I p.m. at the Manchester United Methodist Church with the Rev. Hayden Carrith officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Sat. and Sun. at the Jenter Funeral Home, where friends may call starting Sat.
