Carpenter, Jackie 2792 S. Main, Ann Arbor
Age 32, was killed Monday night, May 23, 1988, in an automobile accident. He was born on March 20, 1956, in Jackson, the son of Dorsie and Edna Mae Carpenter. He was married to Paula Hammond and she survives. He had worked at the Ford Motor Company Wayne Assembly Plant. In addition to his wife, Paula, he is survived by one daughter, Sabrina; his mother, Mrs. Edna Carpenter, of Ann Arbor; two sisters, Joan Angonese, of Ann Arbor and Rhonda Onderdonk, of Ann Arbor; four brothers, Gordon, of Mt. Clemens, D.J. of Gregory, Larry, of Columbus, Ohio and Phillip, of Ypsilanti. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, in 1981 and one brother, Ernest, in 1984. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 1988, at 1:30 p.m., at the Jenter Funeral Home, with Rev. Nick Whetherington officiating Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
