Mrs. Dorsey Fined $100
Mrs. Mattie Dorsey of 917 Jefferson, Ypsilanti, was sentenced yesterday to pay a $100 fine and $15 court costs by Circuit Judge William F. Ager Jr. for tarring an urban renewal sign in Ypsilanti in 1963.
The judge also told Mrs. Dorsey, a long time foe of the Ypsilanti urban renewal project, that she must obey the law.

The Ypsilanti woman was convicted of malicious destruction of property by an Ypsilanti Municipal Court jury in July, 1964, and this conviction was upheld by a Circuit Court jury in a new trial on July 23, 1965. Her husband was also convicted on the same charge in both courts.
No restitution was assessed Mrs. Dorsey because restitution of $27.50 had been made under her husband's sentence. | The couple tarred signs at South Washington and Harriet Sts. designating the urban renewal area in July, 1963.
