Sanford McKinney Given State Office
Sanford McKinney, 711 N. Main St., was re-elected Grand High Priest of The Most Excellent Grand Chapter of Prince Hall Holy Royal Arch Masons of the State of Michigan at the 67th annual session meeting held in Jackson last Saturday.
Other Ann Arbor men elected to office were Finas Brann, 1047 Wall St., named as Grand Royal Arch Captain, and Louis Harris, 431 Glen St., selected as Chairman of Foreign Correspondence.
McKinney was also re-elected as Right Eminent Grand Commander of the Prince Hall Grand Commandery of Knight's Templar for the State of Michigan at a meeting of that organization, also held in Jackson last Sunday.
Other local men to hold office in this latter order are Leroy Swayne, 1047 Wall St., chosen as Grand Generalissimo; Brann, as Grand Standard Bearer; and Louis Harris, as Foreign correspondent.
Swayne and Harris also left today to attend the annual convocation of the Royal Arch Masons of Ohio, to be held in Toledo.
