Services Thursday For Soldier
Funeral services for Army Warrant Officer John D. Eddy, 21, killed in Vietnam last Tuesday, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Dexter Methodist Church.
Eddy, who enlisted in the U.S. Army two years ago, was a 1968 graduate of Pioneer High School. He was killed when the helicopter gunship he was copiloting was struck by enemy gunfire and crashed.
He is survived by his widow, Carol; daughter Linda, 2, and son Robert, six months, of South Lyon; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delvord M. Eddy of 647 Del wood Dr., and two sisters.
