Don Naylor Wins Chrysler’s Dealer Award
Don L. Naylor president of Naylor Motor Sales, Inc., of 310 E. Washington St., has won Chrysler Corporations' coveted Quality Dealer Award.
The award, a commemorative silver tray, was given to Naylor this week at an Ann Arbor Town Club luncheon attended by Chrysler Corp. officials and local civic and business leaders.
Naylor won the award for his outstanding sales record, sound business management, customer service, over-all ethical standards and contributions to community life.
A Chrysler spokesman said Naylor is one of the youngest dealers in the country to get the Quality Dealer Award.
The Ann Arbor High School and University graduate entered the automobile sales business in January, 1950, when he became a partner in Hockett Motor Sales. A year later he became full owner and changed the dealership name to Naylor Motor Sales, Inc.
