Child killer discussion

A group of Ann Arbor residents concerned with the series of unsolved slayings of black children in Atlanta met Tuesday night on the University of Michigan campus to discuss what can be done to help. The meeting was organized by Delta Sigma Theta sorority, and among the speakers were Henry Johnson, left, U-M vice president for student services, and local attorney Frederick McDonald, right. A petition supporting the use of federal funds to aid in the investigation was circulated, and the sorority was to sponsor a bucket drive around the campus today to collect money to assist in efforts to capture the killer or killers.
