Let’s take a look at the origin story of Sesame Street which starts back in 1966. It all started with a dinner party conversation between Joan Ganz Cooney and Carnegie Foundation vice president Lloyd Morrisett - they wanted to use the addictive qualities of TV and also teach children important concepts and lessons. After two years of research The Children’s Television Network was formed and then received a combined grant of US $8 million ($55 million in 2018 dollars) from the Carnegie Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the U.S. Federal Government. To find your first game code search the catalog for the Carnegie Foundation and you will find it hiding in the record for a DVD.
