A car enters one of three Park Mobile structures erected on part of St. Joseph Mercy Hospital's outpatient and visitor parking lot. The first of the 22-car units went into operation Wednesday. The other two are expected to be in use Monday. The button-activated structures, which revolve in ferris-wheel style, are designed to be operated by drivers. An attendant will aid drivers the first few days. The units are the first erected in the Midwest for public use. St. Joseph parking fees have been raised from 20 to 25 cents an hour, with a maximum of $2.50.
