Ferris wheel rides will begin Oct. 26, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital officials hope. At least they hope you'll be able to ride your car up these ferris wheel-like structures by then. Three of these structures are being erected to help relieve cramped parking conditions in the outpatient and visitor parking lot at Ingalls and E. Kingsley Streets. The hospital will distribute a printed explanation of the workings of the new system before it starts operating.
