Age 86, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 peacefully at home. She was born on December 11, 1921 in Wilberforce, OH the daughter of the late Walter and Emma Harrison. On April 19,1938, she married Irven Arnold Sr, he preceded her in death in June 2003. They were married 64 years. She was a member of Bethesda Bible Church for 43 years. She then attended Brighton Christian Church for the past year. She accepted Christ in the early 1950’s through the ministry of Billy Graham. Then received the infilling of the Holy Spirit shortly after that. She did domestic and catering work in private homes. Helen is survived by her five children; Waldora (Willie) Wells, Marcella Arnold, Irven Jr., (Carolyn) Arnold, Homer (Patricia deceased) Arnold, and Michael (Yvonne) Arnold, 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 11 great- great grandchildren, two nieces, one cousin and a host of friends. The viewing will be at Brighton Christian Church, 4309 Buno Rd., Brighton, MI 48114 on Friday, June 20, 2008 from 3-7 p.m. On Saturday, June 21, 2008, the Homegoing Service will be at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tom Elliott officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Ann Arbor. Memorial contributions may be given to Youth Haven Ranch. Envelopes will be available during visitation hours at the church.
