Description
Attendees will be introduced to the Rustic alphabet. This letterform is a very old alphabet and came into use as a shorthand version of Roman capitals. It was used in early manuscripts and became known, in some circles, as Roman “graffiti.” It has an unusual pen angle which gives it its unique appearance. A broad edge calligraphy marker is used to form the letters. This class is taught by instructor Scott Wettlaufer and no prior calligraphy experience is required.
