Attendees will be introduced to the versal alphabet. This letterform was used as capitals for many types of old manuscripts and today is used for posters, signs and artist books. This is a beginning look at the versal alphabet and how to begin decorating versal letters. Experienced calligrapher Scott Wettlaufer will teach the course and no previous calligraphy experience is needed.
