Douglass named AAUW president

June Douglass is president of the American Association of University Women’s Ann Arbor branch for 1982-83.

Douglass, who received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and earned a master’s in education at Indiana University, has been active in the branch for eight years. She served as corresponding secretary, cultural interests area representative and chairwoman of several study groups.

Also on the executive committee are Ida Copeland, president-elect; Gail Block, vice president for program; Betsy DeVaux, vice president for membership; Polly Guthe, recording secretary; Nancie Loppnow, corresponding secretary; Sue Cremin, finance treasurer; and Nikki Sobkowski, dues treasurer.
