Looking Toward Jackson
LOOKING TOWARD JACKSON: Games at Jackson will occupy Ann Arbor High and St. Thomas gridders on the coming weekend. Among those getting ready are Pioneers Larry Fowler (left) and Jim Dixon (right) plus St. Thomas' George Sears (center). Fowler, a junior, plays fullback and is credited with Ann Arbor's longest scoring run, 85 yards, this season. The versatile Dixon, a senior, appears as a defensive end or back at times, runs the team as quarterback at others, has been an offensive halfback, and last year was the Pioneers' extra-point booter. Sears, a junior lineman, is a defensive specialist for St. Thomas. Ann Arbor will meet Jackson High, St. Thomas Jackson St. John.
