Description

This program requires registration and is limited to eight participants.  Registration is currently full.

Learn the skill of typesetting with handset lead type. Participants will be assigned a small poem to set, so no need to bring your own project. By successfully completing this workshop participants will acquire the basic skills necessary to begin printing with lead type, accessible during our Open Letterpress Labs every Wednesday from 6–8:30pm in the Secret Lab.  

As this program will build on basic printing skills acquired at our weekly Letterpress Open Labs, please plan to attend at least one Letterpress Open Lab before registering for this event.  

Due to the nature of instruction offered at this event, it is necessary to attend the full session in its entirety. The instruction period will begin at 6:00 pm, and if you are not present your seat will be given away to someone on the waitlist.

This program involves direct handling of lead-based type and is therefore not suitable for small children.
