Description
We are kicking off our new inventors series in the Secret Lab and celebrating Black History Month at the same time! In 1961, while working at Bell Laboratories, James West and Gerhard Sessler invented the electret foil microphone. The electret microphone has been used widely in devices such as telephones, lavalier mics, and more.
In this workshop we will discuss the electret microphone and then make an awesome desktop stereo microphone. This project will take the entire time to complete.
This event is part of AADL's Black History Month series.
