Journey to the waters off the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in Northern Lake Michigan and join author and shipwreck hunter Ross Richardson in exploring the histories and mysteries of the Manitou Passage, one of the deadliest areas on the great lakes. An undiscovered fleet of shipwrecked ghost-ships lies off that rugged coast, just waiting to be found. Learn their stories and explore a newly discovered mystery schooner thought to be one of the most intact shipwrecks on the planet.
Author and shipwreck hunter Ross Richardson has spent the last two decades exploring Lake Michigan and documenting new shipwreck discoveries. He is on the board of directors of the White Shoal Light Historical Preservation Society, has written two books concerning Michigan history and unsolved mysteries, and is the creator of the popular website www.michiganmysteries.com. His books include The Search for the Westmoreland and his new book It’s Quiet Where They Sleep.
