Arree Chung, award winning author, illustrator, international speaker and founder of Storyteller Academy closes the first day of KidLitCon with his evening keynote address entitled "The most important story you will ever tell."
Arree Chung lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. Arree travels to schools across the country to encourage children to write stories, make art and to share their creative ideas. Arree shares creative and writing techniques with parents and educators to help grow the next generation of creative thinkers and storytellers. Arreeʼs most popular books are Ninja! and Mixed. Mixed uses color theory to discuss diversity, acceptance, and inclusion in a simple but powerful story. Arree’s books have been named best books of the year by NPR, Kirkus reviews and Amazon. In 2019, Mixed won the FCBG award for best children’s book in the United Kingdom.
This event is part of KidLitCon – an annual conference for people who care about and/or blog about children’s and young adult literature.
