Dollars Keep Coming In With $7,135 added to the Red Cross fund since yesterday, making a total of $108,656 on hand, both Lassie and Laddie got in a few extra licks today, and Lassie County added two "$" signs to the record she is keeping, while Laddie Ann Arbor added one more "$" sign to his total. Laddie County can now count $40,262 credited to the county division of the Red Cross drive, which is $9,262 over the goal of $31,000. Laddie Ann Arbor has $68,393 credited on his side of the cross, which is $6,893 more than the city goal of $61,500. Red Cross reports have not stopped coming in yet, and as today is the last official day of the Red Cross drive, both Lassie and Laddie expect to have more "$" signs to add to their score tomorrow. Lassie and Laddie heard today that Washtenaw county was among the first in the country to go over the quota--and that is only one more reason why they are proud of the record they are keeping.
