In addition to the live cases of spinal curvature at the homeopathie clinic Saturday there were 22 medical and eye and ear cases. Sledics now occupy the room in the laboratory formerly devoted to the use of literiry students taking the course in general chemistry. The Monthly Bulletin, organ of the students' cbristian as9ociaUon,has donned a new dress in order to uetter celébrate lts second birthday. The junior hop on Fridáy evening last, was an enjoyable affair. Thcre were present about fifty couple, inany ladies attending from abroad. Chas. Kuniber, lit,, of Dayton, Ohio, has gone home. At a meeting of the Chromcle associa tion, held last Saturday, Mr. II. C. Richardson, of Princeton, 111., was elected to flll the vacancy occasioned by the resigna tion of G. B. Daniels, of Grand Rapids. Dr. H. C. Adams, the new instructor in wlitical economy, has changed one hour of his class in the advanced course from Thursday 3-4, to Friday 2-3. The other lour remainb the same as heretofore, Tuesday 3 4. Fred M. Towusend, lit. '81, of Coldwater, bas laid aside the journalistic quill for the purpose of resuming his university work. The Battle Creek Journal has been the scène of his labora as a pencil shover. Mr. W. J. Lowry, of the medical department.and A. G. Hall, president of the students' christian association, have been elected delegates to the ninth annual state convention of Y. M. C. A's. to be held at East Saginaw from the 24th to the 27th of Feb. The Palladiuin appeared Saturday. It is a model in typographical neatncss, and also poasessea a feature unenjoyed by Palladiums of the past, that of a stiff cover. The copies were rapidly sold to the students. As to the subject matter, the usual jokes are passed around, and broader ones have never graced the Palladium pages. There are chances for the amend honorable. Some of our goodly people do not grasp the heavy jokes of the Palladium, and are seriously thinking of petitiouing the board of comical cusses who got the Palladium up, to give thcm a seeond cdition in whicli the jokes shall be interpreted. We would ïecommend these C. C. to con sider the petition of tbe clamoring multitutle, provided the attack of vértigo, brought on by the dizzy jokes, has not provtd fatal. We cali atteation to the seuior class examinations in the two medical departments at the late semester examinations, so that Ihe people may bt able tn unaerstuud the woik of the university in tbc two medical schools. Give diagnosis and treatment of Pott' fracture, and explain melhod of setting, and adaptation of dressing. 7. Give diagnosis and treatment of both bones of the forearm, and explaiu method of applying splints. DEPAKTMENT OF MEDICINE AND SURGEHY. 1. What is meant by healing by the first intentiou, and what conditions favor this method. 8. What are inflammatory new forniations, and mention at least six that are met with in practice. 3. Diagnose syphilis. 4. Describe Symes' amputation of ankle joint. (Not lectured upon.) 5. Describe liare lip and method of treatment. 6. Ulcers. The candidate to write upon three out of the six and no more. The University Palladium. The twenty third volume of the Univeisiiy Palladium was placed on sale last Saturday.
