H addition to the reporta by 4 regular observers, as shown in the table, peciai reports have been received howing sruall-pox present during the week ending Feb. 4, and since in nine other places in Michigan, making hirteen in all as follows: On a vesel at St. Joseph, Berrien Co. (1 case), reb. 2; in Park township, St. Joseph jO., Feb. 2; in Spalding, Menominee 3o. (14 new cases), Feb. 3; in Elkland ownship, Tussola Co. (1 case), Feb. 3; at Kalamazoo, Grand Eapids, Saginaw City, Detroit (2 new cases), and Marhall (1 case), Feb. 4; in Port Huron ownship (8 cases), Feb. 5; in White 31oud, Newaygo Co. (3 cases), near "VLenominee (1 case), Feb. 6 ; in Kimball ;ownship, St. Clair Co. (4 cases), Feb. 7, 1882. Other contagious diseases are eported at places too numerous to "aention,- scariet fever at twelve laces, diphtheria by 20 observers, at iighteen places. Henkt B. Baker, Secretary.
