A Great Play
Probably the most popular of tha muy emotional and sensatioual plays of tbis era is the favorite and inlerestinj drama, "A Celeforated Case," by the authors of the "Two Orphani." The New York Herald pronounses it "the grandest of modern plays.'' It has just closed a long engagement at Harerly's theatre, New York, where hundreds of persons rrere nightly turned away for lack of seats. After the New York engagement terminated several coinpauies were organizad to play tho piece through the west, uuder the auspicesof A. M. Palmer, of the Union Square Theatre. This company is composed of first-class artists, and they will bring with them tbeir own scenery, which is entirely new, and painted for them aftr the original moiels at Union Square TMeatre by the eminent tcnic artists, üosmaa & Landis, includinj; a grand military camp scène and magnificent cliateu drop.
