At a session of the probate court for the County of Washtenaw, holden at the pro bate office in the city of Ann Arbor, on Wednesday, the 19th day of April in the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty-two. Present, William D. Harriman, Judge of Probate. . . In the matter of the estáte of Jennie E. Polhemus deceased. Caroline Martin the administratrix of said estate. comes into court and represents that she is nowprepared to render lijriinal account as such administratrix. At a session of the probate court for the county of Washtenaw, holden at the probate office, in the city of Ann Arbor, on Munday the 24th day of April in the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty-two. Present, William D. Harriman, judge of probate. In the matter of the estáte of John McGuinness deceased. On reading and flling the petition duly verifled of l'au'ick McGuinness praying that administration of said estáte may be granted to some suitable person. Tliereupon, ït is ordered, that Monday, the 22d day of May next, at ten o'clock m the f oreuoon, be assigned for the hearing oí said petition and that the heirs at law of said deceased and all other persons interested in said estáte, are required to appear at a session of said court, then to be holden at the probate office, in the city of Ann Arbor, and show cause if any there be, why the prayer of the petitioner should not be granted: And it is further ordered, that said petitioner give notice to the persons interested in said estáte, of the pendency of said petition, and the hearing thereof, by causing a copy of this order to be published in ITie Ann Arltor Democrat, a newspaper printed and circulated in said county, three successive weeks previous to said day of hearing. DEFAULT having been made in the conditions of a mortgage executed on the 17th day of November, 1874, by MargaretG. Bower to Persis L. Tuttle and ri#orded in the office of the register of deeds for the county of Washtenaw and state of Michigan, on the same day and year last aforesaid, in Liber50,of mortgage.-, on page M8, and there is claimed to be due on said mortgage at the date hereof four thousand seven hundred forty-eight dollars and eighty-two cents ($4,748.82) together with an attorney fee of thirty dollars, and no suit or proceedings at law or in chancery having been mstituted to recover the same or any part thereof, notice is hereby given that by yirtue of a power of sale in said mortgag contained, I shall on Wednesday, the üiith day of July, 1882, at one o'cloclc in the afternoon at the court house in the city of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw county, Michigan, sell at public vendue to the highest bidder all those tracts or parcels of lamt sitúate in the city of Ann Arbor, Wa8hteuaw county, Michigan, to-wit: Lots number six (6), seven (7), eight (8), nine (9), and ten (10) ; also lots number one (1), two (2), three (3), four (4), and flve [5]. in block number four [4] in Felch's addition to the city of Ann Arbor, according to the recorded plat thereof in Líber forty-flve [45] of deeds on page 140. DEFAULT having been made in the payments of the principal and interest due on a certain mortgage bearing date October 27, 1K68 executed by Charlotte D. Silkworth to J. Moreau Smith, and recorded in the office of the Register of Deedsforthe county of Washtenaw, stat of Michigan, on November 2, 1868 in Liber 38. of mortgages on page &75. which mortgage waa duly assigned on January 13, 1872 to Ransom S. Smith by an assignment recorded Mareh 1, 1882, in said Register's office in Liber 7, of assignments of mortgages on page 332 (which said mortgage is now owued by the estáte of said Ransom S. Smiih, deceased) by which said default the power of sale contained in said mortgage has become operative. and no proceedings at law or in equity having been instituted to recover the debt secured by said mortgage or any part thereof ; and there being now claimed to be due and unpaid upon the said mortgage and the note accompanying the same, the sum of two hundred and forty-seven dollars and sixty-two cents. Notice is therefore hereby given that said mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises or so much thereof as may be uecessary to satisfy the amount claimed to be due on said mortgage, together "with all other egal costs and expenses of sale, at public sale or vendue to ther;ghest bidder at the east front door of the court house in the city of Ann Arbor, county of Washtenaw and state o( Michigan (that being the place for holding the circuit court for said county) on Wednesday the seventh day of June 1882 at ten o'clock in the forenoon of that day (subject to a prior mortgage recorded in Liber 35 of mortgages on page 508 in said Register's office) which said premises are describedas follows: All the following described lands situated in the town of Sharoa, Washtenaw county and state of Michigan, being the east third of the north east quarter of the south west qiarter of section number thirty-four in township number three south of range three east, commencin at the center of section thirty-four aforesaid running thenc west on the quarter line to land owned by Josiah R.
