Milk that is heated to much above 100 degrees Fahrenheit loses for the time a degree of its sweetness and its density; but no ono fatigued by overexertion of boSy and mind, who has ever experieneed the rcviving influence of a tumbler of this beverage; heated as liot as it can be sipped, will willingy forego a resort to it because of its iiaving been rendered somewhat less acceptable to the palate. The promptless with which its cordial inlluenceis 'clt is indeed surprising. Some por:ions of it seem to be digested and apsropriated almost immediately; and bany who fancy they need alcoholic stimulants when exhausted by labor of brain or body will flnd in tuis simple iraught an equivalent that shall be dbundantly satisfying and more endur ng in its effects - Plirenological Journal. Ten denominations of Christians were rèpresented in the graduating class of Yale Theological Seminary.
