A Democratie State Convention to nomínate candidatos for State Offlcers, to select a State Central C'ommittee and to transact such other business as may come before the eonveution, will be held at the Opera House, in the citj oí Jackson. on Wednesduy, tho 23d day of August next. at 12 o'clock. M. ín purauance of a resolution passed at the lat Democratie State Convention, instrueting the committee to apportion the delégales to the sev eral counties aocording to the total vote at the last gubernatorial eleetion, making proper provisión for the reprrsentation for the new counties each county will be entitled to one delégate for every 50U votes castin 18S0. Aucording to the rule established in previous conventions a delégate must be a resident of the eounty he representa.
