I guess yo know. Therein't so many of 'em that's beautiea. Lemme see, what her name? Bangtree, or suthin lifc that?" "Oh, Mts. Langtry." "That's it. Whar kin I aee her, cap'n?" "At Wallack's." "How much does it cost t' git in?" "Oh, not much; a dollar." The Jersey man feil back, bnt edged up again and said: "That's purty steep, by gosh; ain'ttherno way cheaper'n that?" A brilliant idea truck the man at the desk, and he promptly gave the member from Jersey the benent. "Yes," he said, "you can got a good look foi twenty-five cents." Tuat's my ligger, old man. Whar?" "At Bunneli's museum, on Broadway." "What's she doin' thar, though?" "Why, haven't you heard of tho Congres of Beauty? All the handsome women m New York are there, showing off for a prize of 500.
