The Ath'etic Association have made reparations for a üeld day to be held on aturday, May 12. Professor Pattengill, ïennequin, DePcnt, Sewall and Thomas ïave been chosen judSas. The following s the list of contests in which pnzes will e offered - First Class- Ten mile walk, heavy weight boxing, standing broad jump, ndian club swinging, horizontal bar, awn tennis, light weight boxing, tug of war between '85 and '86 with 10 men ach, 100 yards dash, wrestling, collar nd bellow, chaaing greased pig, fencing, ne mile bicycle race, three mile walk, lay pigeon shoot, single stick, bicycle lub exhibition. Second Class - Hop, skip and jump, irowing base-ball, throwing sledge, rop kick, one hour go-as-you-please, hree legged race, wheelbarrow race, uarter mile run, potato race, hurdle ace, wrestling, catoh-as-catch-can, fancy ncyoling. To hold prizes in the first class it will e necessary to win them in a second ontest. Besides the above contests heie will be a game of rugby between he Univers-.ty 11 and one from Detroit omposed of University graduates.
