At a special Keview of Arbor Tent, No. 296, Knights of the Maccabeeu, held August 31st, 1885, the following preamble and resolutions were unanimously adopted : Whkreas, The Supreme Oommander of the Universe has been pleased in hie msorutable wisdom to remove suddenly iiuui uur mjuöi uur eeieemea xsrotner and Sir Knight, Oscar Wehner who by hia staunch fldelity has won the respect and coufidence of the Sir Kuights of th Tent; therefore, be it Resolved, That by his death we sustain the loss of a zealous member of our Or der, whose many noble qualities hav won for him the esteem of the Sir Knights of this Tent. Resolved, That we tender to hia bereaved wife and family our deepest sympathy and condolence for the loss of a knightly and beloved husband and father. Resolved, That as a token of our respect and esteem for the Brother whose warfare has ended on earth, the Charter of our Tent be draped in mourning for thir ty daya, and that this preamble and reaoluions be spread upon the Book of Becords of A rbor Tent. Resolved, That these tributes to the memory of our deceased Brother be published in such of the city papers as may extend to us that courtesy, and in the official organ of the Order, The Bee-Hive, published at Port Hurón, Michigan. Resolved, lastly, That a suitably engrosaed copy of thia preamble and resolutione be prepared, under the direction of the Sir Knight Commander and the Sir Knight Becord-Keeper, and that the same be presented to the wife of our honored dead.
