With the bloom of love on her fair cheeks.her eyes sparkling with tender thoughts of the noble y outh who had won her affection, she retnrned to her guardián 's house An appalling sight met hei gaze! She found her guardián the victim of an accident, wavering between Jife and death. He confided to her a mysterious packet, and so worked upon her gratitude that he forced her to consent to a strange request - to wed his dissolute son. Hasty preparations were made, and within an hour she became a bride! lt must have been a powerful motive which induced Bizpah Hope to so soon forget htr noble young lover, and sacrifico her happiness. The strauge circumstance8 which forced this mystenous bridal, and the exciting events whioh followed, are cleverly det;iiled in the affecting love story, "Married at Midnitfht," just begun in No. 14 of the New York Weekly.
