Forest Fires

Terrible forest flres are ranging along the line of the Detroit, Mackinac & Marquette railroad between St.Ignace and Marquette. At Newberry 30,000 corJs of wood belonging to the Vulcan Furnace company were burned, and the furnace will probably be shut down in consequence. Everytbingis very dry, and the flre rushes through the woods with fearful rapidity. Trains are delayed and crops ar burning up for the want of rain.
