A conipany was reeently formed Ín Philadelphia to soarch for $10,000.000 in treasure. said to be sunk in the British frigate DeCraak off Cape Henlopen in ÍT'.IS. A corps of divers was sent there gome days ago. They report that thoy have brought to the surface a large brass canon, wliieh tliey say is without a doubt from the sunken craft. ïhis has greatly encouraged them, and they say they wifl surely, within a few days, lócate the vessel, which lies one milo and three-quarters northeast of tho pitch of Cape Henlopen, three-quarters ot a mile from the Delawaro breakwater. The specie which was on board the De Craak was taken frora three Spanish galleons captured in the West Indies. When the sloop sank she carried every one on board down with her with the exception of the pilot, j cluding twenty-flve prisoners. Ten per ! cent of the wealth saved from the wreek j will be the property of the government.
