Two freight trains met on a curve on the Missouri Pacific rallroad, thirty miles east of Kansas City the other morning. George Cowles and John Light oí Sedalía, the engineers of the trains were killed and two of the fnvineii injurod. The wreek took fire and ten cnr.i wore barned with their contents. Sevon were loaded with hogs, cattle and slieep, whieh were killed or maimcd and many of the carcasses were burned. Vassenger trains wore delayed several hours. The property loss is estimated at $80.000 to $100,00). The accident was caused by carelessness of the operator at Greenwood In misinforming the train dlspatcher.
