The animal session of the board of supervisors eommenced in this city Monday. All but two members aDswered to their namen at the roll cali. The flrst business being the appointment of standing committees, an adjournment was taken until Tuesday morning, when chairman Howlett anDounced the following STANDING OOMMITTBES for the coming year: On Equalization - Kress, Qilbert, O'Hearn, Yost and GUL On Criminal Claims, No.l - Gregory, 3ase and Burch. Criminal Claims No.2 - McCormick â– runu and Sage. Civil Claims- Purtell, Weston and 'sborn . To Settle with County Offlcers- Uavnport, Graves and Breming. Salaries of County Officers - Hughs, eeger and Dwyer. On Apportionwent of State and County 'axes - o'Krien, Gardner and Thompson. On Public Buildings - Butts, Case and Iregory. On Bejected Taxes- Breining, Yost nd Davenport. To Examine Accounts of Superintenents of Poor- Burch, Gardner &fd McJormick. On Finan ce - Sage.Gilbert and Purtell.
