The contract for tlie erection of the Qrnnt monument has been awarded by tho Lincoln park conimiseioners to L. T. Bebfeso of Cincinnati, who received the first premiurn ot' $f)00 for the best model of the stitue. The latter is a f uil, heroic portrftit in bronze, and, with pedestal and foundation, wil] tost $16,000. U will be unveiled in about two vears.
