Junior hop takes place to-night. To-day is the last day of the semester Pres. S. K. Pittman is again able to be out. Adelphi elected officers last Saturday evening. ' Kooh" Wiley found bis lost dog in Ypsilanti. A glee olub has been started in the law department. A great many visitors are in town for the junior hop. The glee olub Rings in Howell one week f rom to-day. The printing of the Oracle has been giyen to the Register. Miss Mary L. Harding, Ut '82, is doing missionary work in África. H. H. Bagan will dehver nis illustrated lecture upon Paris, this even ing. The prospecta are that the homeopathie s ohool will be larger next semester. Senior medies had their final examinations on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Prof. Knowlton quizzed the junior and senior laws Saturday afternoon for three houre. Eight game will be played by the ball club this spring, five at home and three abroad. Prof. Kent of the law department, will deliver the address on Washington's birthday. The natural history assooiation has been changed to the soientific society of the U. of Jtt. Bandall will take the senior lits' pictures. Four photographers put in bids for the work. It is thought by many that Professor Palmer has out-hved hls usefullness in the umversity. Six graduates of the U. of M. are on the faculty of the Wellesly ooilege, Massachusetts. Patiënte are being turned away from the dental department, on account of the Bcarcity of chaira. B. L. Park has been elected managing editor, and S. A. Moran business manager, of the Argonaut. President Angelí is iu Washington attending a ession of the regenta of the Smitheonian instituto. The prohibition club is corresponding with ex-Gov. St. John of Kansas, in regard to seouring him as a lecturer. It seems to be the opinión that the enentire amount ot appropriations asked for will be givan by the legislatura. The new editora of the Bulletin are W. W. Chalmers and E. T. Dorr, T. S. Blair, medie, and J. Thompson, law. Prof. Payne is spending a few weeks in Florida. During his absence his classes are being heard by Webster Cook. Fred Soott, lit '84, who assisted Prof. Hennequinn in his play, has taken an interest in the Sentinel, a Cleveland, O., paper. Prof. W. H. Payne has been elected to till the vacancy in the board of directors of the S. 0. A., oaused by the death of Prof. Olney. Miss Louise Clark, who was in the school of music last year, has returned to take Prof. Oady's place for the balance of the term. Every one that can should sign the new ball constitution, so as to enable the management to pat a strong nine in the field tnis spring. The movement for the endowment of the chair of mathematica, in the Kalamazoo college, as a memorial to the late Prof. Olne , is progressing very well. The Jeffersonian society has elected the folio wiug orHcere: President, E. E. Otis; vioe-president, H. E Bell; cor. sec. Lehman; treas., Caldwell; reo. seretary Reed. A politioal economy assooiation has been formed, witu eleven members, Mr. Converse, '88, acting as chairman. They meet once a week with two reporta eaoh meeting.
