r Stansell post No. 333, G. A. R. are to have their second annual camp fire on Wed. Maroh 9th, and it is needless to say that a "great big time" is expected. Several prominent speakers, have been secured, among them comrade "Ben Morse, Judge of supreme eourt, Col, Dean and Oapt. Manly of Ann Arbor, and niany others. The exercises will be held aftemoon and evening.- South Lyon Excelsior. Au amusing sight was that of a lady in one of our stores last Saturday afternoon scrambling around atter her false teeth that flew out of her mouth ou to the floor, while she was performing the act of sneezing. - The next meeting of the Washtenaw farmers' club will be held at the reBidenoe of Richard Green, Maple Grove farm, Friday the llth of March. All the merabers are requested to attend. - Manchester Enterprise. It will be remembered that not long ago, Randy June of Washtenaw county, sued John Anclift for $300, which June olaimed was his due for assisting AnclifF to procure a wife. Ho swore that AnclifF agreed to pay hini, June, $300 as soon as the lntter prooured the wife, and having fnllfllled his part, the defendant, AnclifT, refused to pay. Suit was brought and a good deal of talk indulged in on both sides, but it seems that the thing has been amioably arranged.- Saline Observer. The lnter-denominational Sunday school assooiation o' Inghnm, Jackson, Livingston and AVashtenaw counties will hold its next session at the M. E. Churcb, Stookbridge, March 2, 1887, beginning at 10 o'cjook a. m. An excellent programme is prepared and important papers are expected from able and earnest men and women. We advise everybody to attend - those interested in Sunday Sohool work that they may be instructed and inspired; those not interested that they may become interested. - Norman Bordine and farnily have removed baok to their farm in the town ahip of Augusta, their houuehold goods , were taken by teams Wednesday. Mr. Bordine continúes a helplees invalid and in a very feeble condition, but for a considerable time has had a longing deaire to return to his old home, that he might gaze out over his broad acres and direot the afiairs thereof. His many Dundee friends hope the change of locations may prove beneflcial to his condition.- Dundee Reporter. Kather a bad accident happened to a load of Milán people while returning from the party at the Lake Ridge house Tuesday night. The load oomprised Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Kelsey, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Hinkley, Mrs. G. W. Edwards and Miss ïïaitie Woolcott. When out on the Ridge road between Mooreville and the Lake Bidge House some accident hap}ened to the harness, and Mr. Hinkley jot out to fix it, when the horses from ome cause started up and ran away, hrowing the occupants out of the vehicle, all receiving bruises and scratches; Mrs. Kelsey, however, recieved" more serious injuries, a gash in ïer head, collar bone broken and bnok slightJy injured; her injuries would not ermit her to be removed home from the ïouse where they were taken until yeserday afternoon. - Leader.
