Joseph W. Bingham, a well known newspaper m;in, couimitted suicido the ottaer moiniug, in a lit of despondency, by outting his tbroat. Insoninia and oveiwork led to melancholy which had been weighing heavily on hiui for weeks. He has had a biight career on Indianapolis and Clücago journals, recentlv severing his connection with the -Neiof of Chicago to report the legislature for the Indianapolis ■Viiinel.
