St. Louis Under Restrictive Law

Gov. Maruiaduke of Missouri, has signed an act of the legislature wliich deprives the saloons of St. Louis of the right to sell intoxicating driuks on Sunday - a prlvilego they have enjoyed since 1857. Tliis brings the liquor traffic of that city under the iron-elad provisions of the Downlng liigh-licenso law, a special feature of which is to prevent the sale of Intoxicants on Sunday, a convlction resultirift in a heavy fine and a forfeiture of the tícense. _
